This morning Shaun and I went to the Roozengaarde Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon, Washington. We woke up early, scarfed down some breakfast, and headed to the festival right when it opened to explore the fields before they were overcrowded. The weather was perfect and the sky was clear enough to see the mountains. It looked like something out of a fairy tale! Fresh, clean air is one of my favorite things about living in the pacific northwest now and these fields filled my lungs with sweet smelling air. Not a bad way to spend Earth Day!
Thank you to my sweet fiancé for taking me to the festival and being a trooper about taking photos! These outfit posts wouldn't be possible without his help. Have you been to any flower festivals this season? What's your favorite type of flower? I personally love daffodils, which is why I screamed a little out of excitement when I found this patch of daffodils left from the previous month. Beautiful! I hope you enjoyed these photos and I can't wait to show you more views from my new home.
These pictures just made me like tulips even more! They are so pretty! Great pictures :)
