Star Wars Style: Return of the Jedi

As much as I love to incorporate subtle Star Wars pieces into my every day outfits, sometimes it's fun to be a little more bold. When I heard that Black Milk Clothing would be dropping a new Star Wars collection for Star Wars Day, I went insane. Not only are their designs super fun, but they're always really comfortable and flattering. After the collection preview went live online, I was excited because I loved every single piece, but this specific Return of the Jedi top caught my eye first.

I ended up buying quite a few pieces from the collection (hashtag treat yo' self), but I had to wear this one first since it was my favorite out of them all. While Return of the Jedi isn't my favorite Star Wars film, I really liked this shirt because it featured Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Yoda, and Chewbacca all in one place. This print was originally used on a promotional poster for the film, but I don't think I've seen it before.

The shirt could be styled in so many different ways. It would look great under a blazer or leather jacket, tucked into a pencil skirt or with high-waisted jeans, and even tied over a cute summer dress. I think I'll be getting a lot of use out of this one, so it was definitely worth the splurge. Since I wanted to be comfortable during a day trip to downtown Seattle, I decided to tie up the shirt in the front and pair it with my comfiest pair of black jeans.

What I Wore:
Jeans- Madewell
Shoes- Target (discontinued)
Bag- Bioworld
Earrings- Target (discontinued)

This specific shirt sold out almost immediately when the collection launched, but tons of other pieces are still available. There's another shirt in the same exact style with a Star Wars 8-bit print that I also picked up. If you like the style of the shirt I'm wearing, I highly recommend getting the 8-bit version! It's really lightweight, doesn't wrinkle easily, and kept me cool during a warm day downtown.

I also wanted to talk about the sizing at Black Milk Clothing. When I originally looked at their brand, I assumed their clothes would skew more to the super-tiny side since their models were stick thin. To my surprise, I ordered my normal since in the Canto Bight pants last year and they fit perfectly. This time around since I ordered a few tops, dresses, and leggings, I decided to take my measurements and plug it into their size chart just to be sure that I didn't end up with anything too big or small. The size chart was really accurate and all of the pieces fit exactly to my preference. I usually fit between an extra small or small, but the size chart said I would be an extra small in all the items I chose. Definitely take a look at their size chart if you're in between sizes. It was very helpful!

Have you shopped the latest Star Wars collection from Black Milk Clothing? Which pieces did you get?
